At Chicago airport

When I and Lil Gator arrived in La Crosse airport, I got a message from American Airline that our flight canceled in the morning! We were so worried if we were not able to go back home anytime soon. Luckily, the lady was canceling her flight so, we could wait for a couple of hours and hop into the afternoon flight to Chicago!
We saw full of snow outside of window at Chicago airport, it didn't look much different as Wisconsin. We drank hot chocolate and waited for the flight to go to San Francisco!

Let it snow! ( Back to Wisconsin)

Lil Gator and I are back to the Wisconsin to spend time with family during Christmas season. We got a bunch of Packers goodies for Christmas gifts and Lil Gator was very excited to try them on.
We also walked around on the snow for a while, it was pretty cool to walk outside when snowflakes were falling from the sky.

Little Italy- North Beach District, San Francisco

It is always fun to hang out everywhere in San Francisco, so Lil Gator and I decided to go to Little Italy for dinner. We ate 2 slices of combination pizza, Italian beer and vanilla cream puffs and everything was so delicious!
( We also bought some thin sliced Italian Salami and Coppa, Lil Gator wanted to have it as his late night snack!)

Raiders game in Oakland,CA

Lil Gator and I thought about how we were going to spend time on Sunday. Lil Gator told me he wanted to go to the Raiders game in Oakland Coliseum rather than watching on TV.
It was very difficult to park the car and got searched before entering the gate...etc We had to be so patient to go through all unexpected events there.
It was really nice to go to the game and Raiders won, too! Believe or not, Lil Gator stared at Raiderettes whenever they appeared and danced in front of him!

San Francisco Giants homecoming parade

Yes! The torture is over! Finally, SF Giants won the World Series 2010~! Lil Gator was eager to see all Giants heroes on the homecoming parade in SF downtown. The downtown was filled with a crowd, and more than a million people came to see the parade.
We loved to be a part of this joyful moment and so blessed to be there! Thank you SF Giants!

SF Giants- 2010 Postseason

Lil Gator and I went to the first postseason game of SF Giants. At&T ballpark was full of Giants fans tonight, everyone wanted to win the game again like yesterday's game.( We love you, Tim Lincecum!)
It was pretty good start when Pat Burrell hit a home run in 1st inning, and we thought we could win again so easily. Unfortunately, the game went on till 11th inning, finally we lost the game. Overall, it was a pretty good game and we hope Giants will win on Sunday in Atlanta!
( Lil Gator enjoyed to eat Giants' ballpark snacks as Garlic fries.)

San Francisco Chinatown- Dimsum Lunch

Lil Gator and I love to have dimsum lunch in SF Chinatown whenever we can. Mostly, it is impossible to find the parking spot in Chinatown, We normally wake up and drive early morning to win the parking war. Our favorite Dimsum is shrimp shumai, Lil Gator can eat them up like there is no tomorrow. I also like to eat chicken feet a lot. Since all Dimsum dishes are steamed and served in steamed baskets, they are not greasy and simply delicious.
(Lil Gator found the Coke bottle which is almost small as him in Chinatown store.)

Harley-Davidson Store, Onalaska,WI

Would you believe Lil Gator and I are fans of Harley-Davidson bikes? We stopped by Harley-Davidson store in Onalaska,WI. As soon as we entered the gate, Oh my gosh! We have not seen so many cool Harley bikes before! It was way better than other Harley stores in Cali, glad we came to check all nice bikes.
I would like to bring my Harley bike from that store if I'd get stationed in the States. (My cutie, Lil Gator crossed his fingers).

La Crosse-Wisconsin

Lil Gator and I flew from San Francisco to La Crosse,WI to attend my cousin's wedding. It was always excited to spend time with family and took Lil Gator to new places where he haven't been visited before. He loved to try the taste of great Wisconsin cheese. My aunt kept enough cheese curds and strings for us in refrigerator.
Deep fried cheese curds were so delicious so I always ordered them whenever I've been dining out there. We also tried beer cheese soup, it had very rich sharp cheddar cheese and mild beer flavor. It was simply great!
(Lil Gator was in front of the wedding bouquets.)

Vallejo- Solano county fair (June, 2010)

It was lazy Sunday for Lil Gator and me...Suddenly, we saw the sign on the road that was Solano county fair in Vallejo,CA. We definitely wanted to check it out because It was only 5 minutes away from our home.
As soon as we entered the gate, we saw so many  food vendors, BBQ spots everywhere, it was the perfect pig out spot for us! We enjoyed the food with mariachi band music together.
( Lil Gator said it was very interesting to get a brick shape of super curly fries with ribs.)

El Paso (June 2010)

Believe or not, We drove from San Antonio to El Paso for 9 hours! We were excited to see Ciudad Juarez as soon as we reached to El Paso. We only went to a couple of Mexican restaurants when we were there. Mexican food was so delicious and quite different than Mexican food in Cali. For instance, we had chicken enchiladas with chocolate sauce. (It was dark brown sauce with sweet flavor) !Delicioso¡ We walked on downtown for lunch and saw the bridge that we could actually walk through Mexico border.

San Antonio downtown (June 2010)

It was really cool to visit San Antonio downtown. The Riverwalk was so nice to hang out and dining out. The temperature had cooled off by the river, We did not feel hot Texas summer there. Lil Gator enjoyed his Chicken fried steaks which we did not get a chance to eat in Cali. We just loved Texan beers and steaks so much, so we ended up to eat steaks every single day.
(If we would have an opportunity to live in TX, San Antonio would be the first choice!)

Back to San Antonio (June 2010)

Lil Gator and I decided to stay in San Antonio before we headed to El Paso. We walked around in Alamo Mission, it seemed like we were just walking in the park. We also stopped by the Western clothing store, I bought a nice cowboy hat and boots!

Corpus Christi, TX (June 2010) Day 2

Lil Gator and I decided to stay in Corpus Christi one more day! It was pretty nice to see the ocean and feel the fresh sea breeze. We had a great seafood platter and couldn't believe the price we paid! (You know we are kinda used to pay higher in Cali.)

Corpus Christi, TX (June 2010) Day 1

After Lil Gator and I spent a day in Austin, we start to drive to Corpus Christi. We have been some cities in Texas before but It was the first time to visit in coastal area. We went to USS Lexington ( its nickname was  The blue ghost during WW II), it served as the aircraft carrier for US Navy. At night, We enjoyed our good appetizers and  Texas local beer called Shiner Bock.
(To be honest, I felt awkward to eat fried gator tail in front of Lil Gator...)
