Caffe Bene in Seocho, Seoul

The United States has Starbucks and Korea has Caffe Bene! Lil Gator and I are coffee lovers and desserts. We ordered Cafe Latte, Garlic cheese bread, Yuzu/Citrus flavored ice cream and strawberry Waffle. Garlic cheese bread had sweet, garlicky, cheddar cheese tastes and it was perfect brunch for us.

Japanese Donkatsu - Donsamo restuarant in Seoul!

I felt so much better to go out eat something, which Lil Gator and I always like. I used to eat Donkatsu almost everyday when I was in Japan last year. We think it can be better than Sushi sometimes. The Japanese style of deep fried pork cutlet is so crispy, tender, mind flavor and dip into special Donkatsu sauce. We ordered the Donkatsu Combo with wheat noodle soup, rice...Of course, Kimchi!
After we finished to eat all of them, Lil Gator wanted to eat some dessert. He picked the Korean ice cream bar and it was delicious, crunchy and strawberry flavor. It was our another great dinner in Korea.

Emperor Chinese Restaurant (at Frenchtown/ Seorae Village, Seoul)

It is the Presidents day ( Washington's birthday) in the United States! Oh, well... it is just any other day in Korea here. Lil Gator and I wanted to treat ourselves for great Chinese food nearby the home. Most of Chinese restaurants in Korea are quite Korean style, and more spicy dishes however, Emperor Chinese restaurant serves more close to Shandong Chinese style by Chinese chef and owner. It was not too spicy and flavorful on each dish and Lil Gator loved Jajang noodle( Stir fried seafood with black bean paste ).

French town in Seoul (Seorae Village), Korea

Hello everyone! Lil Gator is back in Korea! Can you believe it? We started the journey of adventure and food again. Lil Gator and I love to drink coffee and dessert in the morning, so we stopped by the Cafe Gallery in Frenchtown/Seorae village, Seoul for Latte and Cheese Souffle. The barista made a cute teddy bear on our latte and we were so impressed! The lightly baked cheese souffle was puffy, soft, and sweet!

At Chicago airport

When I and Lil Gator arrived in La Crosse airport, I got a message from American Airline that our flight canceled in the morning! We were so worried if we were not able to go back home anytime soon. Luckily, the lady was canceling her flight so, we could wait for a couple of hours and hop into the afternoon flight to Chicago!
We saw full of snow outside of window at Chicago airport, it didn't look much different as Wisconsin. We drank hot chocolate and waited for the flight to go to San Francisco!

Let it snow! ( Back to Wisconsin)

Lil Gator and I are back to the Wisconsin to spend time with family during Christmas season. We got a bunch of Packers goodies for Christmas gifts and Lil Gator was very excited to try them on.
We also walked around on the snow for a while, it was pretty cool to walk outside when snowflakes were falling from the sky.
